packages
The project is composed of eleven work packages:
Work package 1: Development of a database (with georeference) for
organising and visualizing data;
Work package 2: Development of a system for managing and processing
data;
Work package 3: Development of six supportive mathematical models
for analysing, estimating and simulating physical quantities related
to water management;
Work package 4: Development of a model for simulation and optimisation
of hydrosystems’ operation;
Work package 5: Drafting of technical specifications for the installation
of telemetric networks;
Work package 6: Classification and coding of water-quality variables;
Work package 7: Development of methodologies for assessing the
performance of hydraulic works, and the costs of various water
uses and of the related demand management;
Work package 8: Pilot applications to the Karditsa Region, Central
Greece, and to a group of islands of Dodecanesus;
Work package 9: Integration of separate subsystems into a single
operational software package;
Work package 10: Dissemination of knowledge with emphasis on the
use of the internet;
Work package 11: Promotion of the end-product within the Greek
and the international market.
